Tetley the Terrier!
This sweet little girl spent the week with us as a foster dog, receiving some much needed TLC while she waited for her furrr-ever home. Tetley was found wandering the streets of Boston, alone and afraid. After spending time at an animal control facility where no-one claimed her, she was brought to Baypath Humane Society to help her find a new family.
It was clear that Tetley had been through an ordeal but with a warm, cozy bed and a full bowl of food, she quickly settled in to our home.
Tetley was estimated to be about 10 years old, but her outgoing and playful personality saw a little puppy in an older body! Tetley loved an adventurous hike in the woods; charging through puddles and leaping over logs, she matched pace with her foster brother, Arnold the greyhound.
This tiny terrier had personality beyond her stature. She quickly showed herself to be sweet, affectionate and loyal, content to snooze away on my lap while I worked away. In the evenings, she'd build herself a nest on the couch, bringing her favorite yellow duck toy for company.
Tetley has been fortunate enough to find her perfect home, a safe and comfortable place with a loving owner, with cuddles and treats on tap! There are plenty of other dogs in need though- check them out here.
