Costa Rica- A Photographer's Paradise

I was completely blown away by the abundance of wildlife I saw on a short trip to Costa Rica. Boasting over different 500,000 species, my camera got plenty of action! From sloths hanging out in the jungle canopy, to iguanas on the beach- I was truly spoilt for choice.

A three toed sloth having a rest in the cool of the canopy in Manuel Antonio Park. This guy was 40 feet above us but I just managed to catch a glimpse of fur which warranted further investigation!

Capuchin monkeys have bags of personality- super cheeky and always up to mischief.

A variegated squirrel keeps a close eye on me as I snap a quick picture.

I'm not a huge reptile fanatic but I was completely in awe of these iguanas. We were constantly spotting them nimbly climbing up trees and scaling near vertical cliffs on the beaches.

Okay, I couldn't resist this calves gorgeously floppy, over-sized ears...too cute!
